Once this time of year rolls round again, there are lots of causes for firework displays. Fireworks are an amazing sensory experience for the whole household, but we can\u2019t lose sight of the fact that they are very loud! We have compiled a few tips for you so that you can enjoy the displays safely.<\/h3>\n

Firework Celebrations<\/h4>\n

In the UK, we have Bonfire Night on 5th<\/sup> November which we all love to celebrate with our friends and family. Not only will there be spectacular firework displays around the country, there will also be huge bonfires to marvel at. Diwali is celebrated in November and lots of events will have firework displays to add to the festivities. As we move into December, we have Christmas and of course, New Year\u2019s Eve. New Year\u2019s Eve will see cities across the world light up the skies as they compete to have the most spectacular display.<\/p>\n

Noise Levels<\/h4>\n

Generally speaking, exploding fireworks can easily exceed 120 decibels (dB). The considered \u201csafe level\u201d for sound is 85db. This means that being too close to a firework of this sound level could result in a temporary or permanent hearing loss.
