What can I connect to using the Bluetooth in my hearing aids?<\/h4>\n

Having Bluetooth in your hearing aids means you can stream sound directly in your ears from your device. Bluetooth hearing aids can connect to many different devices, including your smartphone meaning you can control your aids through an app on your phone. Most hearing aids have a Bluetooth 2.4GHz connection which means if you have any Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, TV), you can stream sound directly from them. If you have a device that doesn\u2019t allow direct streaming from the device then you can use an assistive listening device (a streamer) which allows you to stream the sound into your aids. You can get specific TV streamers<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> to stream the sound from your TV to your aids.<\/p>\n

You will need to pair each of the devices you wish to stream through your hearing aid with your aids once you get them. Your hearing healthcare professional will be able to talk you through how to do this and when you have done it once, you will find the process is very simple. You will then be all set to listen to the TV, radio, audiobook, podcast, phone call (and we could go on<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>) easily and clearly!<\/p>\n

Connect your hearing aids to their app<\/h4>\n

Connecting to your hearing aids to your smartphone also means that you are able to control them via an app on your device. You can select a specific listening program depending on the environment you are in or check your battery levels easily.<\/p>\n

Some of the newest hearing aids are actually able to be tracked via their app if they are misplaced. It\u2019s important to attempt to track an aid as soon as you notice it has gone. If you are able to track your hearing aids and find yourself in a situation where one or both are missing, you will be able to locate them quickly and easily.<\/p>\n
