Birdsong

One of our favourite sounds of spring is birdsong. We can obviously hear this all year round, but during the spring months birds are often louder and livelier. It is thought this is due to male birds attempting to attract mates. They also warn other male birds away from their territory. There is something magical about being woken on a sunny morning by the sound of the birds outside your window!

April Showers

We all know that spring can be a rainy season thanks to those notorious short, sharp April showers. That mesmerising sound of rain against the window pane while you are curled up inside can make you feel cosy and content.

Rustling Leaves

As the leaves grow back on the trees and branches, when a gentle breeze blows, there is a beautiful rustling noise. This is a sure sign that winter is behind us and the warmer weather is coming. The sound of wind in the trees can be a calming and tranquil sound.

Buzzing Bees

Springtime brings back the sound of bees buzzing from flower to flower in the garden. Sat in the garden drinking a morning coffee and listening to that buzzing is surely one of life’s most joyful moments.
